Services

This guide explains how to describe your business’s services in the Agora catalog. It is for members with merchant administration access.

Where to manage services

Section titled “Where to manage services”

Open your merchant workspace in Agora and go to Catalog → Services. Merchant Admin V2.5 is the current version. If you reach an older screen, treat it as the legacy V1 interface and return to the current merchant workspace.

Services must be enabled for the merchant. If Agora cannot verify access or says Services is unavailable, you can review existing data but cannot save changes. Ask the merchant owner to check this capability; a Pro membership by itself does not guarantee it is enabled.

Organize services

Section titled “Organize services”

Groups organize related services in the catalog, such as “Consultations” or “Maintenance.” They do not grant permissions or enable other capabilities.

  1. Under Services, choose New group.
  2. Enter a name. You can add a description, set the display order, and choose an image.
  3. Save the group and select it to review its services.

Add or edit a service

  1. Select the group and choose Add item.
  2. Enter the name, short summary, description, and an image if available.
  3. Choose the service format: In person, Remote, or Hybrid.
  4. Choose how to express the price: Fixed, Hourly, Starting at, or Quote required. Enter a price when applicable.
  5. Under Customer contact expectation, say whether customers need an appointment, should ask about availability, or may walk in.
  6. Add deliverables, service area, and customer requirements where relevant. Choose a status and save.

To change a service, choose Edit on its row. Review the catalog preview to confirm customers understand what the service includes and how to contact you.

A service does not configure Agora Booking

The contact expectation only tells customers how to coordinate with the merchant. It does not create an appointment, calendar, staff assignment, or room setup. Agora Booking is a separate capability for coordinating teams and resources; it must be enabled and configured separately.
